We are proud to share that Dr. Cory Goldberg has been recognized as one of 26 global experts featured in AI in Action. This e-book brings together leading voices from across industries to help businesses move from AI curiosity to measurable results.

About The AI In Action E-Book

AI in Action is a practical toolkit designed for leaders and organizations ready to stop theorizing about artificial intelligence and start executing in their organization.

Dr. Cory Goldberg is listed alongside 26 practitioners, including experts from IBM, Apple, and Oracle. This book offers real-world strategies, cross-industry blueprints, and a step-by-step framework to audit your organization’s AI readiness today.

The e-book covers proven case studies across Sales, Marketing, Healthcare, and Logistics, and includes the Ctrl + Alt + Future framework, a hands-on tool to help businesses identify where AI can deliver the greatest impact.

Dr. Cory’s Dedicated Chapter: AI & Longevity — Redefining Health and Life

Dr. Goldberg’s contribution appears in Chapter 20, where he brings a rare systems-level perspective to one of medicine’s most compelling frontiers: the intersection of artificial intelligence and human longevity.

As a plastic and craniofacial surgeon, biomedical engineer, and co-founder of Healthspan Digital, Dr. Goldberg draws on clinical expertise spanning reconstructive surgery, global humanitarian work, and longevity medicine to explore how AI is fundamentally changing what it means to age well.

The chapter’s central argument is timely and important: longevity is no longer a futuristic aspiration. It is becoming a data-driven discipline.

Key Takeaways from Chapter 20

From reactive treatment to proactive prevention. AI-driven data analytics are enabling healthcare to shift away from treating illness after it occurs toward identifying risk earlier and intervening before it becomes a problem. For patients, this means more personalized, anticipatory care, rather than waiting for symptoms to appear.

AI is reshaping longevity science

At the intersection of aesthetics, healthspan, and advanced analytics, artificial intelligence is enabling earlier risk detection and entirely new approaches to human aging. The tools now exist to make precision longevity medicine accessible, not just theoretical.

A defining insight: the future of therapeutics

Dr. Goldberg highlights one of the most significant developments in the field — protein engineering and cellular reprogramming powered by AI are redefining what future therapeutics will look like. These technologies hold the potential to extend not just lifespan, but quality of life in ways previously unimaginable.

What This Means for Our Patients

Dr. Goldberg’s inclusion alongside global innovators is a natural extension of the philosophy that guides his practice every day. At FORM Face + Body, we have always believed that beauty and health are deeply connected, and that the best outcomes come from treating the whole person, not just the presenting concern.

AI, longevity science, and functional medicine are not separate from aesthetics. They are part of the same conversation. As these fields continue to evolve, Dr. Goldberg remains committed to bringing the most current, evidence-based thinking to every patient he sees.

AI in Action is available as a free download. To get your copy, visit the official e-book page and fill in your details to access the full toolkit instantly.

It brings together FORM Face + Body, a leader in surgical and non-surgical aesthetics alongside a growing network of specialized medical programs, including hair health, women’s health, men’s health, and more.

An Integrated Model

SUPERFORM represents a shift away from fragmented, single-service care. Instead, it brings together independent operators, each best-in-class in their field, within one coordinated environment.

From surgical interventions and ongoing health optimization, the campus is designed to support individuals across the full spectrum of care.

“This has been a long time in the making,” said Dr. Ron Somogyi, Founder of FORM Face + Body. “We’ve always believed patients deserve more than isolated treatments. SUPERFORM allows us to practice within a broader system; one that supports outcomes not just in the moment, but over an entire lifetime.”

Anchored by Leading Surgical Expertise

At SUPERFORM, FORM Face + Body operates within a shared ecosystem, bringing its expertise in aesthetic surgery into a more integrated model of care.

FORM Face + Body expands its aesthetic surgical practice to include integrated programs across men’s health, women’s health, hair restoration, and skin health, extending its scope beyond surgery into more comprehensive, continuous care.

Across the Full Spectrum of Care

SUPERFORM is designed to remove the traditional boundaries between disciplines, creating a more connected, guided experience.

Whether someone enters through surgical, wellness, aesthetics, or medical care, the campus enables collaboration across experts, supporting better preparation, improved outcomes, and more intentional long-term health and overall wellbeing.

Dr. Cory Goldberg, Medical Director of SUPERFORM leads this integration, connecting expertise across the campus.

“SUPERFORM creates the opportunity to align surgical care with a broader network of health clinics,” said Dr. Cory Goldberg, Medical Director of SUPERFORM. “That integration allows us to support patients more completely; improving how we prepare, treat, and care for them across every phase of life.”

A New Destination for Health in Canada

Opening May 1, 2026, SUPERFORM establishes Toronto as a leader in a more connected approach to health–bringing surgical excellence and integrated medical care together in one place.

Some couples choose to coordinate surgery—either on the same day or in a staggered fashion. If both partners have general anesthesia on the same day, a third party is required to take them home and support them overnight. Alternatively, surgeries can be scheduled on different days so partners can care for each other during recovery.

We customize these plans based on the type of procedure, anesthesia requirements, and distance from home to our Toronto surgical center. Some couples choose to recover in a hotel for a few nights to get some space from kids or pets. Many couples find that this shared experience deepens connection and mutual appreciation. We asked a couple who recently chose to recover together to share their thoughts on shared recovery:

Q: You chose to plan your surgeries around supporting one another—what did you learn about being a good partner during surgical recovery?

We feel the most important aspect during recovery is to be aware of which partner is most able to support the other partner. That way the stronger partner can provide the most assistance to the partner in greater need.

In our first surgery [he] needed more assistance that [she] needed. In our second surgery [she] required more care. The partner who is more mobile must place the needs of the other first even though they are also a recovering patient. They have to realize that that they have to be the primary support system.

Getting together to support each other in every way is paramount in a successful rehabilitation for both parties.

Q: What advice would you give about going through the process together?

Its much easier to go through it together than to go through it alone. Knowing that their compassion for you at the time is genuine as they are also in recovery. Loving the person unconditionally. It makes your marriage stronger knowing that your partner is there for you 100%.

Recovery easier knowing that your partner encourages you daily to forge ahead with even the smallest amount of progress. Small wins throughout the process leads to a big win in the end for both parties.

The most important aspect of all of this is that you trust your surgeon with your life. Knowing that he is just one call away is most comforting and is paramount in both patient’s recovery.

Valentine’s Day—a time to celebrate love, partnership, and caring for one another. At its core, surgery is not just a medical event for the patient; it’s […]

Valentine’s Day—a time to celebrate love, partnership, and caring for one another. At its core, surgery is not just a medical event for the patient; it’s a shared journey that involves loved ones who provide support, reassurance, and practical care during recovery. This month, we’re focusing on how you can best care for someone you love after a surgical procedure.

1/ Food Is Comfort …and Medicine

Food truly is a way to the heart, especially during recovery. Having simple, gentle options ready at home can make a big difference. Stock soups and broths in advance, as nausea is common after anesthesia. Ginger ale and saltine crackers are classic and effective, and it’s a good idea to bring them with you when picking your loved one up after surgery for the drive home.

2/ Support Good Pain Control

Comfort is a cornerstone of recovery. Your surgeon and anesthesiologist will work carefully to minimize discomfort, and it’s important to follow the prescribed recovery plan.

Encourage your loved one to take the recommended nutraceuticals, anti-inflammatories, and any prescribed pain medications as directed and on schedule. Some people feel hesitant about using narcotic pain medication, but when used appropriately and for a short period, these medications are safe and effective. Avoiding pain out of fear can actually slow recovery—your reassurance and support matter.

3/ Be Prepared for the Emotional Roller Coaster

Recovery isn’t just physical—it’s emotional. Pain, disrupted sleep, and anesthesia can all affect mood. Swelling and bruising are normal, and early healing often looks worse before it looks better. This can cause anxiety, frustration, or low mood as patients worry about their final result.

As a partner or loved one, being aware of this emotional phase and offering reassurance is invaluable. These ups and downs can last weeks or even months, and patience and empathy are powerful tools.

4/ Preparation Makes Everything Easier

Good preparation reduces stress for everyone. Along with food and drinks, make sure you have dressing supplies as instructed and a comfortable recovery space with easy access to the bathroom.

We strongly encourage loved ones to attend the pre-operative nursing appointment when possible. Understanding medications, wound care, and activity restrictions allows you to confidently help your partner follow instructions and recover smoothly.

5/ Thoughtful Transportation Matters

Getting to and from surgery sets the tone for the day.

Confirm the surgery location and plan your route in advance—knowing they’ll arrive on time reduces anxiety for your loved one. For the ride home, drive slowly and carefully to minimize bumps. Keep a plastic bag, ginger ale, and saltine crackers in the car. If you have a longer drive, plan to stop every 45 minutes so the patient can gently walk and move their legs.

For Dr. Cory Goldberg, science was never just an academic pursuit, it was something he felt early, deeply, and personally.

Now a plastic and craniofacial surgeon in Toronto with a focused interest in stem cell science and longevity research, Dr. Goldberg was recently featured by the Weizmann Institute of Science, reflecting on the experiences that helped shape his career and worldview.

A First Encounter with Science at Age Six

Dr. Goldberg’s relationship with the Weizmann Institute began long before medical school. His first visit to campus was at just six years old, when his parents took him and his brother to Israel. Even at that young age, the environment left an impression.

Years later, when his brother completed high school, he participated in the Institute’s ISSI program. Five years after that, it was Cory’s turn. Upon finishing high school, he enrolled in Weizmann’s summer science program—an experience that would fundamentally change how he viewed science, the world, and his place within it.

“It really changed how I looked at science, and the world.”

Science Done Differently

Being on campus and actively involved in research exposed Dr. Goldberg to a style of scientific inquiry unlike anything he had seen elsewhere. At Weizmann, science isn’t siloed or purely theoretical, it’s deeply human, relentlessly curious, and globally impactful.

The Institute’s work is internationally recognized, including its standing within the Leiden Ranking of academic institutions. The volume and quality of research produced there rival the most prestigious universities in the United States and around the world.

But for Dr. Goldberg, the impact goes far beyond rankings and publications.

Asking the Most Human Questions

What sets the Weizmann Institute apart, in his view, is its willingness to ask the most fundamental questions:

Who are we?
What is this universe we live in?
How can we survive, thrive, and remain healthy?
How do we build the most productive and resilient society possible?

This blend of foundational science and real-world application deeply resonated with Dr. Goldberg and continues to inform his approach to medicine today—where aesthetics, reconstruction, health, and longevity intersect.

From Student to Steward of Innovation

Motivated by his personal experiences on campus and the Institute’s extraordinary scientific culture, Dr. Goldberg became actively involved with Weizmann Canada. He now serves as a member of its National Board, helping support and advance the mission of one of the world’s leading research institutions.

In recent years, medical tourism, traveling outside Canada for cosmetic or medical procedures, has become increasingly common. Lower prices, shorter wait times, and attractive vacation-style marketing can make overseas surgery seem appealing. However, as Canadian physicians are seeing more often, the risks are real, and in some cases, life-altering.

A recent CTV News investigation highlights the serious consequences that can arise when procedures performed abroad go wrong.

When Cost Savings Come at a High Price

One Canadian patient, Nicole Gregorov, traveled to Costa Rica for a cosmetic “mommy makeover.” What was expected to be a routine surgery resulted in severe sepsis, ultimately leading to the amputation of her fingers and toes. Her case is extreme—but not isolated.

Canadian plastic surgeons, including Dr. Cory Goldberg, report seeing a growing number of patients returning from overseas surgery with complications. While many issues are not immediately life-threatening, they can be permanent, difficult to correct, and emotionally distressing.

Different Standards, Different Risks

Medical standards, patient screening protocols, and surgical products can vary widely between countries. Some overseas clinics may approve patients for surgery who would not meet safety criteria in Canada due to factors such as weight, underlying medical conditions, or overall surgical risk.

In addition, materials used, such as implants, sutures, or medications, may differ from those approved or commonly used in Canada. Once a procedure is done, many outcomes cannot be reversed.

The Critical Importance of Follow-Up Care

One of the most overlooked aspects of cosmetic surgery is long-term follow-up care. Proper healing, monitoring, and adjustments often take months, not days. When patients return to Canada shortly after surgery, their original surgeon is no longer available to manage complications.

As a result, Canadian physicians are frequently left to manage infections, wound breakdowns, poor cosmetic outcomes, or internal complications—without having been involved in the original procedure.

Impact on Patients and the Healthcare System

When complications occur, care often falls to Canada’s public healthcare system. Hospital admissions, imaging, drainage procedures, and extended treatments can place a significant burden on resources—and more importantly, on the patient’s health and quality of life.

While seeking affordable care is understandable, patients should be fully informed of the potential consequences before making decisions that cannot be undone.

Making Informed, Safe Choices

Choosing where—and with whom—to have surgery is one of the most important decisions a patient can make. Safety, surgeon qualifications, regulatory oversight, and access to follow-up care should always outweigh cost alone.

Canadian-trained, board-certified surgeons operate under strict standards designed to protect patient safety, before, during, and long after surgery.

If you are considering cosmetic surgery and have questions about safety, eligibility, or long-term care, speaking with a qualified Canadian surgeon before making decisions abroad can help protect both your health and your outcome.

Regenerative aesthetics is stepping beyond traditional creams and injectables — and Dr. Cory Goldberg, plastic and craniofacial surgeon and longevity expert, is helping lead the way. Featured in Fashion Magazine’s “This Is Bespoke Beauty’s New Frontier,” Dr. Goldberg explains how stem cell–based skin care, specifically Acorn Biolabs’ new secretome serum, is changing what it means to look and stay youthful.

Unlike serums built from donor ingredients, this breakthrough uses a person’s own stem cells derived from just a few hair follicles. These cells generate a “secretome” — a mix of growth factors, peptides, proteins, and collagen — that helps the skin rebuild and renew itself from within.

Dr. Goldberg emphasizes that this approach supports the skin’s natural architecture rather than masking aging signs. “These regenerative signals stimulate your skin to produce new cells, collagen, and elastin,” he notes. “The result is stronger, thicker, more resilient skin that resists sagging and damage.”

To Goldberg, the innovation goes beyond aesthetics; it’s about protecting the body’s largest organ from the daily toll of inflammation and oxidative stress. Your skin, he says, is “a protective suit,” and investing in its preservation is a cornerstone of long-term health and vitality.

The technology may be expensive now, but its promise marks a turning point — shifting beauty from superficial repair to cellular regeneration and self-preservation.

The meaning of beauty is evolving, and it’s long overdue. In a world dominated by filters, cosmetic fixes, and fleeting trends, BeautySpan invites us to rediscover beauty as a lifelong story rather than a static image.

Co-authored by Stephanie Lusk, Chief BeautySpan Officer and Practice Manager with Dr. Cory Goldberg, and Dr. Cory Goldberg, Co-Founder of Healthspan Digital and a leading plastic surgeon, the piece explores how genuine beauty comes from vitality, not vanity.

True beauty reflects the harmony of mind, body, and spirit — nourished by nutrition, movement, mental well-being, and social connection. It’s about embracing our genetic aging process with care, not fear, and protecting ourselves from environmental stressors rather than chasing perfection through invasive means.

BeautySpan envisions a healthier, more human paradigm in the beauty industry — one that champions diversity, prevention, and self-authorship. We’re not snapshots waiting to be “fixed”; we’re stories unfolding, rich with experience, resilience, and authenticity.
